Sonorous

Sonorous are a dynamic youth aged aspiring show band hailing from Taupo, New Zealand. This talented trio consists of a lead guitarist/vocalist (Lucian McDermott), bass player (Khani Te Mete) and drummer (Cooper Paalvast). With their huge passion & love Blues, they bring a raw bluesy rock sound that resonates with audiences of all ages.

Opportunities have been forthcoming for Sonorous and they’ve managed to secure some big spots on some big festival stages in 2024, including opening for the 2024 Summer Concert. The time & dedication they’ve spent crafting their own sound & style shows in their performances & they are determined to carve their own path in the world of music. Currently recording an album in the studio and have just released their first single “Shame & Misrule” which is available now on all streaming platforms. Their second song “Foolish Love Game” is due out in a few weeks time!
