From Aldinga, South Australia (Ngaltingga, Kaurna Yerta), Dojo Rise have been firing up crowds since their first show in 2021.

Influenced by the new wave of reggae, dub, soul outfits such as Fat Freddy’s Drop, The Black Seeds, Stick Figure and L.A.B. The trio - Adam Blesing (Vox, Bass), Sean Dedrick (Vox, Guitar, Production), and Anthony Sherwood (Drums) - have gone on to release 8 singles and 2 EP’s with airplay on Triple J, Double J, ABC Radio, Community stations Australia wide, and recently won the People’s Choice Award in the Blues and Roots category at the 2023 South Australian Music Awards.

The past year alone they have sold out a number of shows in SA and QLD, appeared at Woodford Folk Festival 2022/23, headlined Space Jams Festival 2022 Inman Valley SA, Played numerous festivals around the country, and have supported the likes of Michael Franti & Spearhead, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Skunkhour, Tijuana Cartel and Bootleg Rascal.
